As others have noted, this is a cheap piece of plastic. Assembly is simple, line up the holes and put the screw through. The item is fairly stable in my opinion. I have mine filled with movies and I don’t suspect it will fall. However, for those seeking additional stability there is a simple solution. You can buy two sided tape and put it on the feet (assuming you’re not setting it on carpet). I did not want to drill holes in my wall, so I used two sided tape again to “wall mount” the stand. This has kept it stable from minor abuse from two cats and being bumped by an 80lb dog. However, it will not withstand a toddler or any direct hit from a large dog.
